LENGWE NATIONAL PARK

Lengwe National Park is in Southern Malawi in Lower Shire Valley in Chikwawa District. It offers unique natural assets of dry Miombo woodland Savanna characterized by exceptional scenery of the thicket vegetation communities. The Park is home to Nyala Antelope, Buffalo, Kudu, Warthog and Impala. Over 350 bird species have been recorded in the park and with some bird species being endemic to Lengwe such as the Gorgeous Bush Shrike and Grey Sunbird.
